- Shading is inherent in ceramic tiles. Buyers must order the correct quantity as the company cannot guarantee against crazing or shade variation.
Order Quantity Responsibility
- Buyers are responsible for ensuring a sufficient quantity of tiles is ordered to cover the required area. It is recommended to add an additional 10% to cover waste and cuts.
Cancelled Orders
- Cancelled orders may incur collection and transport charges. Orders are packed and dispatched promptly, subject to stock availability.
Orders and Delivery
- Orders and delivery promises are conditional upon securing necessary materials and are subject to risks beyond our control.
Invoicing and Payment
- Invoices are dated the month goods are dispatched, with all amounts strictly net. Extension of credit is not allowed.
Late Payment
- Failure to make payment by the due date may result in interest charges at 5% above the Bank of England base rate.
Non-Compliance with Payment Terms
- Failure to comply with payment terms will result in immediate payment, including any applicable interest.
Tile Inspection
- Buyers should check tiles carefully before fixing. No refunds or replacements will be offered once tiles are fixed.
Suitability for Installation
- Goods supplied do not guarantee suitability for a specific installation. The company’s liability is limited to the manufacturer’s guarantee.
Price Alterations
- Prices are subject to alteration without notice.
Customer Demands
- The company cannot entertain any financial demands from customers for late or incorrect delivery.
Tile Delivery
- Tiles are shrink-wrapped on a pallet and delivered to the ground level edge of the property. The driver cannot assist with moving tiles into the property.
Sample Tiles
- Sample tiles are available for purchase to ensure customer satisfaction.
Returned Tiles
- Returned tiles must be in a resaleable condition within 28 days of delivery.
Privacy Policy
- The company is committed to protecting customer privacy and will take necessary actions against unauthorized access to data.
Dispute Settlement
- UK legislation will be followed for dispute settlements with overseas customers.
Sample Purchase Advisement
- Customers are advised to purchase a sample tile prior to placing their order.
Damaged Tiles
- Proof of damage is required for replacements or refunds for broken or damaged tiles.
Tiler Booking
- Customers are advised against booking a tiler before inspecting tiles. The company will not be liable for fees incurred due to delays.
Price Promise
23. The ‘Price Promise Plus’ excludes Natural Stone Products and non-UK sites like Tile Expert. Additionally, price matching is contingent upon the competitor having the item in stock.
Conclusion
